Jessica Mozzi, aka Moggie The Cat, is an independent singer-songwriter and musician born on the shores of Lake Garda (Verona), where she developed a deep connection with music from childhood.

Self-taught and guided by a strong artistic sensibility, she began writing and performing her first songs in her teens, inspired by the melancholic atmosphere of the winter months on the lake.

Her influences range from great folk songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley to more modern sounds reminiscent of the intimacy and emotional depth of Taylor Swift's “Folklore”.

In 2020 she releases her first singles on all digital platforms, moving between pop, folk and soul, collaborating with musicians from the Verona and Brescia scene. Their style combines poetic lyrics and evocative melodies, creating a delicate and intense musical experience.

In 2025 she released the acoustic album “Rabbits and Lions", a project entirely in English, composed between 2020 and 2024. The album includes songs born between acoustic guitar and piano, accompanying a period of personal transformation and life changes against the backdrop of a global pandemic.

In addition to her independent songwriting career, she also writes commissioned songs, turning emotions and stories into music for other artists or special projects. One of her most successful collaborations is with Mattia Tosoni, with whom she released the duet "Sopra il rumore", which was very well received by the public.

IL NUOVO EP “RABBITS AND LIONS”

This EP is the fruit of years of writing and reflection. Divided into two parts, it chronicles the moments when we let fear guide our choices and those when we find the courage to face everything head-on, acting like lions despite our fears.
